Childrens Musical Workshops - Lime Tree Theatre

Four musical workshops are to be presented by the Lime Tree Theatre. The first workshop is this Saturday, 21st January which starts at 2.30pm and is a music workshop by Etain McCooey based on her children’s book “Deefer’s Day Out”.

The story of Deefer, the border collie puppy, who excitedly awakes to a morning where lots of snow has fallen on the Doolin countryside. She sets off on an adventure with her best friend, Róisín, an older and more experienced dog. They discover a whole new world and meet Seamus the Pygmy Shrew and Brenda Badger. Together with composer Anne-Marie O’Farrell participants will hear about Deefer and friends, play music based on the characters, create a soundscape for the story using percussion instruments and learn to sing ‘Deefer’s Song’.

Children can attend individual workshops or all four workshops.
