Angela’s Ashes, The Musical - Lime Tree Theatre

LIME TREE THEATRE | JULY 2017

You may have heard by now that the Lime Tree Theatre will host the world premiere production of Angela's Ashes, the Musical in July 2017. This will be the biggest show we have hosted since we opened in 2012, as it is a full, commercial production which will play at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin and, depending on the audience and critics reaction, will transfer to the West End later in the year.

The producers of the show are investing a substantial sum in this project with a creative team and cast that will be of the highest quality. They will be announced in the early spring.

It is a huge achievement for the Lime Tree Theatre to have secured this event. It is fitting that one of Limerick's most famous stories will be premiered here and, who knows, it could go on to play the stages of the world. There will be 11 performances in the Lime Tree, at ticket prices that will be well below those charged in Dublin and beyond. We hope that you our customers will support us in ensuring that this is one of the most memorable cultural events in the city and the region. Without you this will not be a success.
